If you have experienced some form of communication with a deceased loved one, then a psychiatrist would say that you have experienced bereavement hallucination, or an after-death communication. Although those who experience such a phenomenon are not considered mentally ill, I do not believe that a deceased loved one would manifest to a living loved one and encourage that person to commit suicide. God requires those who believe in Him to have faith in His word which is communicated by those in the land of the living and not by those who are physically deceased. The deceased who did not enter heaven are prohibited from communicating with anyone on earth as recorded in the account of Lazarus and the rich man.

(Paraphrasing Luke 16 for clarity)

Luke 16:27 Then said the rich man to Abraham, I pray thee therefore, father, that you will send Lazarus back to the land of the living that he may visit my father's house.

28 For I have five brothers; that Lazarus may testify unto, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham said to the burning man who was once rich on earth, your five brothers have the words of Moses and the prophets to warn them of this place; let your brothers hear the words of Moses and the prophets that they may call upon the name of the Lord.

30 And the burning soul of the rich man said, no, Father Abraham: but if someone from the dead went to my brothers, then they will repent.

31 And Abraham said If your brothers will not hear the words of Moses and the prophets on earth, neither will they be persuaded to repent after hearing the words of someone who appeared to them from the dead.

With that being said, if you are experiencing manifestation from a deceased loved one who says that he/she loves you (even if the manifested one quotes scriptures about God) then you need to call on the name of Jesus because that so called loved one might later turn out to be a dark force from hell. Jesus can help you, but you must do your part as well. It will do you no good to call on Jesus for help and later give yourself over to sin because sin is an open door to darkness. Finally, if your spirit has experienced some form of communication with a force from another realm, then the last thing that you want to do is submit yourself to illegal drugs. Don't make the mistake of thinking that drugs will suppress the voices or help you relax from the manifestation of the voices. Remember, demons are liars, and they can manifest themselves as one of your deceased loved ones in order to kill, steal, destroy, or commit suicide. Remember, suicide is one of the many ways that demons accomplish their evil task.
