1 Kings 11:4-6
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods:
and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.
For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians,
and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord,
and went not fully after the Lord, as did David his father.
Matthew 15:14
And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
You cannot overcome death if you are sleeping with multiple wives.
Why?
Because such an act is a sin.
Sin will produce death, but sin will not overcome death.
and no man can overcome death if he is living in this kind of sin
even if that man is born again
some sins really do look good
some sins really do feel good
some sins really do taste good
some sins really do sound good
some sins really do smell good
but there is no sin that good for your soul
It is just too bad that God did not allow you to be birth in the days of old
when such a lifestyle was permitted
Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets (Old Testament)
Jesus has given us a New Commandment
that we LOVE God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength
that we LOVE one another as Jesus loves us
that we LOVE our enemies and FORGIVE them
and that each man LOVES his wife as Jesus LOVES the Body of Christ
God expects a born again married man to be faithful to his ONE and OWN wife.
Beware Of False Prophets
1st John 4
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is Jesus that is in you, than the evil and false spirit that is in the world.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you,
who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them,
and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(and if you unite yourselves with them, then the same "swift destruction" will fall upon you.
Beware Of False Prophets.
Remember, The Lord Jesus Christ Is Your Shepherd.
Follow Him.
