Genesis 3
17 And unto Adam God said, Because you have hearkened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You must not eat of it: cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to you; and you shall eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, (until you physically die) ; for dust you are, and unto dust will you return.
Genesis 3:14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Genesis 3:15 (God said to the serpent)
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and
between your seed and her seed;
her seed shall bruise your head,
and
you shalt bruise his heel.
The words from God's mouth were toward that "old serpent" within the physical serpent, which was Satan, the devil.
I will put enmity between your seed and her seed, and her seed shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel
Genesis 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel, and killed him.
Exodus 1:8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. And he said to the midwives, When you do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women; if she brings forth a son, then you shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. (Many boys were destroyed in this dark attempt to destroy the unknown promised seed.)
1st Corinthians 2:7-8
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes (or fallen angels) of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Jesus turned out to be that Seed from a woman who would bruise/destroy the serpent.
As God spoke, it surely happened. The serpent bruised the heel of the woman's seed by crucifying Jesus.
And Jesus being the seed of a woman, bruised the head of the serpent through the endurance of His crucifixion and the resurrection of His life with all power in heaven and earth.
Revelation 20:7-10
After that Old Serpent is loose out of the bottomless pit, he will gather a massive force to surround and attack the saints of God,
and Jesus will destroy them all.
And that Old Serpent will be cast into a lake of fire and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.
And so shall the word of God’s judgment be fulfilled upon the Old Serpent within the walking serpent that deceived Adam and Eve.
