Praying for a grieved family is not about a quick fix before dinner, but it is a sacrifice of time.
It is written, men ought to always pray and not faint, so when we hear that someone has suffered a loss, then we should always pray because death can cause the strongest man to faint.
It was foretold in the scripture (Isaiah 9:6) that Jesus would be our "Wonderful Counsellor", and I pray that He will counsel the hearts of those who are dealing with the burden of a lost loved one.
I pray that Jesus will manifest His glory to you and comfort you with His peace.
Let us not forget that when we perceive that people who suffered the loss of a loved one will become their jolly selves again on our timetable. Remember, Jesus knows that the heart of the survivors will always be bothered by the thoughts of what if this or what if that.
